More Halloween Pictures to Come
We had a party on Thursday that turned out great. I went a little hog wild. There was mega food and we are still eating left overs. I made mummy pretzels. Tootsie Pop skeletons and put a treat bag together. We also had spider cupcakes and were supposed to play all kinds of games. The games didn't all get played. It was a little chaotic for me with so many children. The head count was 17-18 and about 6-8 adults. The important thing is the kids had a blast. They played on the trampoline and swing set. I took pictures of them on the trampoline, etc. There was an orange table tennis ball they decorated with a face to look like a pumpkin, and then they used it to toss into the pumpkin stack. I misplaced the noses for the pin the nose on the pumpkin. I also made pumpkin shaped rice krispies for them to decorate the faces with candy. It never happened and I sent them home with the rice krispy treat. I even flavored them orange and food coloring of orange. The other game I got from the Family Fun magazine and added my own twist to it. It was a Spider. Pumpkin, Ghost, and Bat decorated plates and you flip a fake spider and get points assigned each plate. I made it so you could do relays. The kids had more fun just playing in the backyard together, and chowing. Even though things didn't happen as I had planned it was a whole lot of fun. I think the stuff I had would have worked better with a smaller group. I will keep the games if ever any of my family might want to use them they can.

A little confused
I did a smilebox Halloween thing, but tried to put it on the blog and it is not working. I think because my email is different. I tried to change it and can't seem to get it to work. Although I can send it to other emails. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Our Halloween Decorations
I made silhouttes for all of the front windows. There are 2 witches, a cauldron, rats, bats, spider, ghosts, a cat. Then I put cheesecloth and frayed the bottoms and hot glued spiders like they are crawling out of the cauldron. I have a spider web on our door I made with white thick curly yarn tied in knots and a large black paper spider on the the web that I cut out. I will also make more giant paper spiders to go on the house. Like a spider invasion. I bought some orange paper chinese lanterns and cut out spiders I enlarged on the copier and glued them on the lanterns and will put battery operated tea lights in all of them. This is just the beginning of my Halloween decorations. I will gradually collect fake pumpkins and decorate them with stenciled spiders, and a few other carved pumpkins. I would also like to make a graveyard with fake mummy's and headstones, etc. I am having a good time doing this. It is fun seeing it all come together.
