More Bronze

Well I decided to save money and paint my plastic light plates, silver soap dish, trash can, toilet paper holder, kleenex cover, and shower hooks. The shower hooks are the only thing I would not do again. Instead I would buy the matching hooks. They don't glide as easily on the rod. I was really liking the way the curtain glided after I put the plastic cover over the rod that was .89 cents at Anna's Linens before I painted them. I used the spray paint from Walmart that can be used on plastic or metal and is a hammered looking paint that is bronze. I really like the way it turned out and spent about $15. on paint. That is quite a savings compared to $15. a towel ring, etc. It also made things match.

Fruit Pizza

I always wanted to make a fruit pizza. I like trying new recipes. In fact I collect recipes. My family really liked it. As well as my friend Denise and her friend also. It is kind of like a cookie on the bottom, a powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla flavoring spread on top then fresh fruit and a fruit glaze on top. Yummy!

After Christmas Gingerbread House

I found this on sale at Walmart for $5. I loved the fact that it had the house pre-assembled you just decorate it. It is nothing like my mom's though.

New Decorations for Our Tree.

I couldn't wait to see what they would look like next year, so I decorated with the new ornaments. I also wanted to see them so I would know if I needed anything else. So here is the picture. It is red, burgandy's, and purples. The lighter ornaments look lighter in the picture than in person. I like them on the tree. It sort of reminds me of red and purple grapes.
