Faith in God Motivation

We have been working on Brandon's Faith in God stuff and he is almost finished.  He needs to memorize Article of Faith 10, 11, and 12.  Then he needs to write his testimony.  I have found that telling him if he wants to play at his friends this week he better pass it off first.  It helps to motivate him, and seems to work.  Especially when he really wants to play with his friend. 

Scouting

Well Merik and I were about to volunteer to do the scouting, because they weren't doing anything and I was very concerned.  When the next day was Sunday and we were asked to do it.  Funny how things work out.  We have been doing scouts for about 2 months now and have done quite a bit.  I am aiming to get them caught up.  It has been difficult during the summer, because people are on vacation.  So rather than wait we will move forward with Brandon and whoever will participate.
