I was under the understanding that I had cancer until yesterday on the phone to the cancer office. The receptionist looked up my records and she told me I had pre-cancer. Although I asked her what the difference was I did not understand her answer. Can anyone explain this to me. At what point is it considered full blown cancer.

I am pretty sure that "pre" just means that it has all of the signs and symptoms of being cancerous but it is still in a stage where they can treat it before it becomes the real thing!!
I don't know Brenda. Either does my mom. We don't like the word cancer period, but we love you!
