Have a Party Your House Will Get Cleaned.

Sounds a little crazy doesn't it. It works because you don't want guests to see your house a disaster. I think I did the Spring cleaning thing in July. Go figure the timing is off. I am just glad it is done. It was fun to have a Baby Shower for my friend Joyce. She did not know what Baby Showers are all about, and so this American tradition was very unique to her. She is from Africa and there friends just give gifts when the baby is born. No parties. We are party people here in the US. I think she was a little overwhelmed, happy, and surprised that I wanted to do this for her, and that so many people came.

Merik is at scout camp back packing in Utah and will be home tomorrow. I decided to do this party while he was gone so we didn't keep him up late. It was Wednesday evening and Merik goes to bed early for work . That schedule changes throughout the year depending on what they want them to work at work, and the particular job. Construction jobs tend to work early to avoid the hottest part of the day especially in the summer. Okay, can I just say that it is somewhat of a nightmare trying to keep my sanity cleaning, and having the kids mess up what I have done. The wrath of mommy is not a good thing. I am glad that as far as that goes it is past. Now my problem is it's clean. I don't want them messing it up still, because I am enjoying the cleanliness.

Just for something crazy to say in the midst of all of this I have discovered that I really don't like filling up the gas tank, and not having the amount at a rounded off number and will usually top off to get it the way I want. The down side to that is sometimes I over fill, and it gets on the car. I know that is not a good thing.
