Ahhh, what a cutie! I ran into Joyce at Wal-Mart before we left but she didn't have her with her.
Yes, I painted the back and sides of the letters. The back doesn't really need to be painted if you're going to hang them, but I didn't like the unfinished look so I painted it anyway. If you search for "Altered Letters" you can find several different sites with instructions. They're pretty easy. I'm going to make an E for Emme and hang ribbons from it to clip all of her hair barrettes on.
