I felt a gnawing pain following eating pizza, etc. So I believe I have an ulcer. I called Dr. Rutledge and he said to have it checked out, as well as cancer. He also told me to cancel the surgery for now until I know for sure what is happening. Bummer! I am now also on Protonix for acid reflux also known as gerd. I am watching what I eat avoiding acidic type foods like tomato based, citrus, greasy, fatty foods and sodas. Oh what a joy! The weight loss surgery should help, but I have to clear up the ulcer first, and the doctor wants to know if I have cancer first. I honestly don't believe I have cancer. I had Merik give me a blessing and it was very positive. The power of the priesthood is a wondrous thing. It helps me to realize the love of God as well.
I got an ultrasound done yesterday and around 9:30 found it difficult to go to the bathroom. Felt like I really had to go and hardly anything would come. Later I felt some back pain, mostly on the right side and thought it was just my typical back problems. I thought to call my doctor and ended up going in for a urine analysis, but because my doctor was not there they sent me to a quick care and I am now being treated for a UTI. My doctor was concerned it may be in the kidneys. So he did not want me to wait.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I know UTI's are painful! I hope you start feeling better soon : )
This is a really depressing post...you are worrying me lately...are you sure you are ok!? What is an UTI anyways?
Yeah I don't know what everything means but I hope everything is ok!! Keep us posted!
UTI's are urinary tract infections. It can affect the kidneys and cause damage. That is why my back hurt. It was actually kidney pain. Not my typical back pain. Urination was about every 15 minutes and hardly a trickle. I felt like you do when your'e pregnant and always have to go and never feeling like youv'e done enough. It's very unsatisfying.
